Chelsa S. Moore

Chelsa Moore is an experienced finance professional and community advocate. She has several years of experience working in accounting and consulting industry. She earned her BS in Accounting at the University of Illinois at Urbana- Champaign. Chelsa is currently pursuing her Master’s in Urban Planning & Policy at the University of Illinois at Chicago.

Chelsa is passionate about teaching her peers financial principles and systematic barriers that prevent people from building true wealth . It is impossible to restore and bring wealth to a community without changing individual lives first. That is why Chelsa is committed to bringing revitalization and economic growth to underserved black and brown communities in Chicago through equity planning, financial literacy coaching on a neighborhood level, non-profit real estate, community outreach, and more.

When Chelsa is not changing the world, she’s busy indulging in her favorite activities which includes spending time with family, blogging, bike riding, step aerobics, reading, listening to podcasts, and traveling. Her life’s mantra is to Love God and Love people.
